Masting Operative (Nights) – Andover – Apply Now to join Stannah
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Masting Operative to join us at Stannah, based at our site in Andover (Pioneer Road).
The role of a Masting operator is to ensure that the product is 100% right first time when the product is distributed to the customer. They are responsible for the quality of product before it reaches the end user.
Working hours are 21:00hrs – 06:45hrs Mon-Thurs
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete given jobs within the required specification.
- Reading and interpret product drawings.
- Delivery of product to down stream customer that meets QCD requirements and does so within established safety parameters and with a “right first time” ethic.
- Utilise cross skilling to ensure operational flexibility to respond to changing business needs / new opportunities.
- Work to current “best practise” to our current Works Instructions.
- Work flexibly within a team environment to ensure the required QCD deliverables are achieved.
- Assume personal responsibility for Health and Safety at Work.
- Wear all required Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with the Safe Systems of Work.
- Maintain housekeeping to the established standards.
- Comply with manual handling recommendations when required.
Key Requirements:
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads
- Working from a technical drawing- Competent in working to and extracting information from a technical drawing
- Working at height- working from moveable platform ladders in accordance with the Safe Systems of Work
