Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Curved Rail Manufacture Department based in Newburn. This job will involve supporting day-to-day production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and enhancing productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety across operations. You will play a key role in optimising manufacturing workflows and contributing to both business-as-usual improvements and longer-term new product introduction (NPI) activities. This job is a permanent contract.

Responsibilities:- Provide support for day-to-day technical process issues in production
- Develop and optimise manufacturing workflows and procedures
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support the design and implementation of new processes, equipment, and projects
- Produce production documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
- HNC or Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (desirable)
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of process optimisation and continuous improvement methods
- Experience using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with ERP systems and data management tools
