We’re looking for a Lift Repair Engineer to cover Cambridge and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role focused on repairs, fault finding, and keeping lifts running reliably. You’ll be working across a local patch, dealing with breakdowns, worn components, and more complex faults. You’ll manage your own work day-to-day, with support from a local supervisor when needed.

Your Patch:

  • Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
  • Local, structured patch
  • Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
  • No unnecessary long-distance travel

Lift Repair Engineer Responsibility:

  • Carrying out repairs and fault finding on lifts
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
  • Replacing and upgrading components
  • Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
  • Getting lifts back into service safely and efficiently
  • Completing site paperwork and keeping records up to date

Qualifications Lift Repair Engineer Requirements:

  • An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Lift Engineer and minor repairs
  • A valid UK driving licence.
