We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day-to-day, with support from a local team when you need it.
Your Patch:
- Covering Bury St Edmunds and nearby areas
- Structured route (no random national travel)
- Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
- Mostly staying within your allocated area
Lift Engineer Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
- Attending breakdowns and callouts
- Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
- Keeping sites safe and compliant
- Completing site logs and basic paperwork
Lift Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
