Stannah has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Homelift Installer to join our Installation Department, based in Manchester and surrounding areas.
This role involves assisting the Lead Installation Engineer with the safe, efficient installation and removal of Homelift products in residential settings, helping to deliver life-changing mobility solutions to our customers.
As the Assistant Homelift Installer, you will work 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 15:45. This is a permanent role.
The position requires travel throughout North UK, including occasional overnight stays.

To be successful, you should have basic experience with hand tools and a working understanding of health and safety practices. Experience in basic mechanical or electrical work is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the safe and efficient installation and removal of Homelift products
- Deliver exceptional customer service in line with company values
- Maintain a professional appearance and keep the company vehicle clean and organized
- Follow all health and safety policies and report incidents or near misses
- Ensure van stock and tools are maintained and ready for use
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures (including asbestos awareness)
- Ability to use or learn to use smart devices (e.g., tablet, phone)
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
- Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge (desirable)
