Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join the Order Fulfilment Department, based at Stephenson Close. This role involves picking and scanning customer orders and contracts using manual picking methods and barcode equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times within a warehouse environment.
As a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver, you will work 37 hours, Monday to Thursday 11:15 - 19:30 and Friday 8:30 - 15:00. This role is offered on a permanent contract. To be successful as a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver, it is essential that you have previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with strong attention to detail and an understanding of health and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:- Loading and unloading of lorries using Forklift.
- Working in line with Standard Operating Procedures and daily targets.
- Checking in crates and straight rails.
- Adhering to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.
- Using barcode equipment to receive & dispatch orders.
- Previous warehouse experience (desirable).
- Forklift license.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
