Tube Bending Operative Jobs in Andover at Stannah – Join Our Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Tube Bending Operative to join Stannah based at Pioneer Road Site.
This role involves producing bespoke tubular stairlift components to meet customer requirements, working from engineering drawings and production schedules to ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
As the Tube Bending Operative, you will work Monday - Thursday 21:00 till 06:45, you will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours. This is a permanent contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or engineering who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products within a busy production environment.
To be successful as a Tube Bending Operative, it is essential that you can read and interpret engineering drawings.
Previous experience within a production or engineering environment would be highly desirable.
- Produce bent tubular stairlift components in line with the production schedule.
- Read engineering drawings and follow production plans to manufacture parts accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and workmanship at all times.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Support other areas within the department as required and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
- Ability to operate cutting and lifting equipment. A forklift truck licence is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
