We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn.
This job will involve joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, working from technical drawings provided by our in-house Rail Design Team. You’ll ensure each product meets quality standards and is delivered with a “Right First Time” approach.
As the Fabricator Welder, you will work 36 hours per week, Friday to Sunday 06:00 to 18:30, you will receive a 25% shift uplift during these hours. This job is a permanent contract.

To be successful as the Fabricator Welder, it is essential that you have previous experience in MAG welding and interpreting technical drawings. Experience in using Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and working to fine tolerances would be desirable.
Fabricator Welder Responsibilities:
- Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification
- Read and interpret detailed product drawings
- Deliver high-quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow Works Instructions and health and safety protocols
Fabricator Welder Requirements:
- Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
- Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
