We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn. This job will involve joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, working from technical drawings provided by our in-house Rail Design Team. You’ll ensure each product meets quality standards and is delivered with a “Right First Time” approach.

As the Fabricator Welder, you will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 19:45 to 05:45, Thursday 19:45 to 04:45, and you will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours. This job is a permanent contract. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and detail-focused individual to join a reputable company offering long-term development and job security.

To be successful as the Fabricator Welder, it is essential that you have previous experience in MAG welding and interpreting technical drawings. Experience in using Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and working to fine tolerances would be desirable.

Fabricator Welder Responsibilities:
  • Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification
  • Read and interpret detailed product drawings
  • Deliver high-quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Follow Works Instructions and health and safety protocols
Fabricator Welder Requirements:
  • Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
  • Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
