We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn. This position involves joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, following drawings produced by our in-house Rail Design Team. You will ensure each product meets quality standards and is completed correctly the first time.
Work schedule: 37 hours per week, permanent. Monday‑Wednesday: 19:45 – 05:45; Thursday: 19:45 – 04:45. You will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours.
Responsibilities
- Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification
- Read and interpret detailed product drawings
- Deliver high‑quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow works instructions and health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
- Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges
