As part of the management team in our Glasgow branch, you will play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence and helping us exceed our business goals. In this Field Repair Manager role, you will lead a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to achieve key objectives within our Major Plan. Your work will span modernisation projects through to new installations, covering everything from platform lifts to passenger and goods lifts. This is your chance to shape, motivate, and inspire a high‐performing team—ensuring they deliver exceptional service that reflects our values and meets the highest Health & Safety standards.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with proven lift industry experience—ideally in a management or senior technical engineering role—who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will be based at our Glasgow Service Branch, with travel throughout Warrington expected. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1645 and Friday 0800-1545

Field Repair Manager Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan engineer workloads including the allocation of repair works.
  • Maintenance of a Portfolio.
  • Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carry out regular site monitoring.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.

Field Repair Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within the lift industry or similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
  • Relevant management qualifications would be desirable.
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
