Our range of products includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts, and we also provide maintenance and repair services.

Join our Maintenance and Repair division and cover a route across the Ringwood service branch. This apprenticeship offers a starting salary of £17,164, reviewed regularly based on performance, and a benefits package including profit‑share bonus, Simply Health, 25 days holiday, matched contribution pension scheme, shop discounts and more.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 16:45; Friday 8:00 – 15:45.

Responsibilities:

  • Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with the servicing and repair of lifts.
  • Attend distance‑learning courses and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.
  • Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
  • Participate in at least 20% off‑the‑job training.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.

Training and Development:

  • Duration of 40 months.
  • Practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
  • Achievement of a qualification in Lift Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Achieved a minimum of GCSE Grade 4 – 9 (A–C) passes in Maths and English.
  • Have a keen interest in engineering or practical experience working in a related role.
  • Have a valid driving licence or working towards one.
