Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the Manufacturing Department based at our Watt Close Site in Andover. This role will involve fabricating and MAG welding company products to the required specification, working from detailed drawings, SOPs and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Working hours and compensation: 37 hours a week – 14:00 – 00:00 Monday to Wednesday, 14:00 – 23:00 Thursday. Permanent contract and a 15% shift uplift.

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of MAG welding experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
  • Proactive team player willing to cross‑train and develop skills

Responsibilities:

  • Follow company Health, Safety, and environmental standards at all times
  • Fabricate and MAG weld components to specification using drawings and WPS
  • Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met the first time
  • Complete accurate daily production and quality reporting
  • Support continuous improvement and new product introductions
