Location: Manufacturing Department – Stephenson Close, Andover.
Employment Details: Permanent contract. Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:00‑16:45, Friday 08:00‑13:00.
Responsibilities:
- Move goods using correct manual handling and forklift operations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, environmental standards, and safe systems of work.
- Create purchase orders and monitor stock levels for potential shortages and overdue items.
- Check accuracy of stock locations for loading and picking.
- Support other areas of the department as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a modern manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and continuous improvement processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre goods safely.
- Proactive, adaptable and computer literate with strong communication skills.
- Forklift experience is mandatory (in‑house experience acceptable). Further training will be provided.
