Are you ready for your next challenge in an Material Control Operative Job?

Join Uplifts, Stannah’s dedicated Homelift Team at a brand-new factory in Andover. You will be working in a manufacturing environment, with Standard Operating Procedures in place.

The Material Control Operative Job is permanent and full time, your hours will be:

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.

Candidates must have unrestricted right to work, sponsorship is not offered.

What You Will Do

As a Material Controller, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material movements and storage. This includes checking deliveries, placing incoming orders around assembly lines correctly. You will pick products according to the specific customer requirements and prepare this for shipment.

Material Control Responsibilities

  • Follow standardised operating procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Receive and book goods into the correct location
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Deal with any stock discrepancies or quality issues efficiently
  • Ensure that the execution of the dispatch sequence is maintained within the required dates
  • Actively involved in the replenishment of line side stock
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
