Job Description

We are looking for a Field Service Manager based in our LIB Service Branch in Orpington.

The role involves managing the delivery of the Branch Business Plan, overseeing performance metrics such as PPM, LOLER defect management and first‑time fix rates, and ensuring service delivery aligns with safety and quality standards.

  • Plan engineers’ workloads efficiently.
  • Manage team absence, performance and appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, conduct risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carry out regular site monitoring.
  • Maintain customer relationships, addressing queries and complaints.
  • Maintain credit control logs and CRM data.
  • Facilitate travel across Greater London; a full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the lift industry or similar service industry with transferable skills.
  • Relevant technical or management qualifications are desirable.
  • NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
