We are known for our stairlifts and our range includes lifts, escalators, and homelifts, as well as maintenance and repair services.
An opportunity has arisen for a Lift Repair Engineer to join the Warrington Service Branch, covering a route across the North West and Wales. This role involves working across a diverse range of passenger lifts, vertical access systems, and moving walkways from leading manufacturers. You will be part of a busy, customer-driven environment focused on delivering service excellence and keeping equipment at peak performance. This position covers minor repairs across Stannah's lift portfolio in Warrington and surrounding areas.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:45 and Friday 8:00–15:45. A valid driving licence is essential as the role is provided with a company vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform major and minor refurbishments, repairs, servicing, and maintenance on all types and makes of lifts.
- Respond to call-outs and carry out both reactive and preventative repairs.
- Complete required documentation, including log cards and risk assessments.
- Maintain high standards of service quality and support apprentices when needed.
- Work within your area and assist other regions as required.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is essential.
- Proven experience in major and minor repairs.
- Some experience with computer or PDA use is essential, as you will log all calls and access customer and equipment information via a mobile comms unit.
