Stannah is recruiting ambitious Apprentice Lift Engineers for our Maintenance and Repair division, covering a route across Dartford and the surrounding areas. Starting salary of £17,164, reviewed regularly based on performance. Apprentice Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Shadow qualified Engineers assisting with servicing and repair of lifts.
  • Complete distance learning courses and coursework on time and to a high standard.
  • Attend training and mentoring sessions, both in person and online.
  • Participate in at least 20% off‑job training.
  • Demonstrate the aptitude and behaviours of a future Stannah Lift Engineer.

Training and Development:

  • Duration of 40 months.
  • A mix of practical, mentoring and structured learning at our training centre.
  • Achievement of a qualification in Lift Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSE Grade 4 – 9 (A‑C) passes in Maths and English.
  • Keen interest in engineering or practical experience in a related role.
  • Valid driving licence or working towards it.
