We have an exciting opportunity for a Homelift Technical Surveyor to join our Midlands and surrounding areas team. This job will involve undertaking detailed intrusive builder surveys within customers’ homes following a sales visit, ensuring all Homelift installations can be delivered successfully. You will identify structural and material requirements, assess feasibility, and resolve any issues that may impact installation.
As the Homelift Technical Surveyor, you will work Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700. This job is a permanent contract. This is a great opportunity for a technically skilled surveyor who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment and wants to be part of a growing and specialist accessibility solutions sector.
To be successful as the Homelift Technical Surveyor, it is essential that you have previous experience in technical surveying within domestic dwellings. Experience in homelifts, accessibility equipment, or similar installations would be desirable.
Responsibilities- Conduct intrusive technical surveys in customer properties following sales visits
- Assess structural integrity and identify services such as gas, water, and electrics
- Produce detailed CAD drawings and technical documentation
- Identify compliance risks, material requirements, and necessary structural calculations
- Collaborate with internal teams and support smooth project delivery on-site
- Proven experience in technical surveying within residential properties
- Good knowledge of Building Regulations, Fire Regulations, and building control
- Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings using CAD
- Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
