Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the Manufacturing Department at Watt Close, Andover. This role involves the fabrication of sheet metal components and welded assemblies to detailed engineering drawings, across cutting, pre‑fabrication, bending, robotic and manual welding, and weld inspection. The Production Operative will work Monday to Wednesday 14:00 – 00:00 and Thursday 14:00 – 23:00, receiving a 15% shift allowance due to these hours. The position is permanent and offers opportunities to develop multi‑skilled capabilities within a modern manufacturing environment that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet metal components and welded assemblies in line with engineering drawings and quality standards
- Work safely at all times in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Inspect completed work, complete accurate daily reporting, and support quality requirements
- Support productivity, continuous improvement, and new product introductions within the department
- Maintain operational flexibility, including machine utilisation, housekeeping, and autonomous maintenance
