We have an exciting opportunity for a Drawing Office Engineer to join us at Stannah Lifts Limited, within our New Lifts division based in Andover. As the Drawing Office Engineer / CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Producing builders work drawings and issuing contracts to manufacturing.
- Responding to questions and queries from customers.
- Assisting the Sales Team with technical queries.
- Supporting site surveys and visits to customers.
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and efficient individual who can communicate with people at all levels. A good understanding of the construction industry is essential, along with experience in the Lift industry and living local to our Andover office. You must be able to interpret engineering drawings and be skilled in the use of various CAD packages, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and structured working.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:15 and Friday 08:30 – 13:30
Responsibilities include:
- Producing builders work drawings and resolving issues with the customer.
- Issuing instructions to the manufacturing teams and suppliers.
- Reviewing the As Sold / Sales Selector Sheet, Survey and/or architect’s details.
- Communicating and clearly documenting all changes to the product to the customer.
- Working with the sales and operations Teams and scheduler to identify potential delays.
- Collaborating with a small team to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
Qualifications:
- Auto CAD 2017
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of vertical transportation systems, i.e. Platform Lifts, Goods Lifts, Micolifts, Passenger Lifts.
