As part of the management team at our Birmingham branch, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and exceeding business goals. The Field Repair Manager leads a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors to achieve our Business Plan targets for Major Plan fulfilment, covering modernisation, new installations from platform lifts to passenger and goods lifts.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently plan engineer workloads, including the allocation of repair works.
  • Maintain a portfolio of work.
  • Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conduct risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carry out regular site monitoring.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the lift industry or a similar service industry is essential.
  • Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
