Job Description
This permanent contract role involves loading/unloading lorries, picking and scanning orders, and ensuring dispatch accuracy. You will work Monday to Thursday 06:15 to 16:00 in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment and play a key role in meeting daily operational targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload lorries using forklift equipment
- Pick and scan customer orders using barcode devices
- Accurately check and pack contracts for dispatch
- Operate both Counterbalance and Aisle Master forklifts
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Aisle Master) – essential
- Experience loading/unloading lorries with a forklift
- Familiarity with barcode scanning equipment
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to manage workload and meet daily targets
