We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn. This position involves joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques, working from technical drawings provided by our in‑house Rail Design Team. You will ensure each product meets quality standards and is delivered with a “Right First Time” approach.
Hours: 36 hours per week, Friday to Sunday 06:00 to 18:30, with a 25% shift uplift for these hours. This is a permanent contract offering long‑term development and job security.
Responsibilities:
- Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification
- Read and interpret detailed product drawings
- Deliver high‑quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow Works Instructions and health and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in MAG welding and fabrication
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience with polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools
- Understanding of working to fine tolerances and use of digital bevel gauges
