Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join the Manufacturing Department based at Watt Close, Andover. Responsibilities will include fabrication of sheet metal components and welded assemblies to detailed engineering drawings, working across cutting cells, pre‑fabrication, bending, robotic and manual welding, as well as weld inspection.
Schedule and Compensation
Monday to Wednesday 14:00 to 00:00, Thursday 14:00 to 23:00. A 15% shift allowance is provided for these hours. This role is offered on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate sheet metal components and welded assemblies in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Work safely at all times in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Inspect completed work, complete accurate daily reporting, and support quality requirements.
- Support productivity, continuous improvement, and new product introductions within the department.
- Maintain operational flexibility, including machine utilisation, housekeeping, and autonomous maintenance.
