Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Processor Advisor to join Stannah based at Andover. The role involves delivering post‑order customer care, ensuring all stairlift and homelift orders are accurate, complete, and ready for manufacture while supporting customers throughout the final stage of their purchasing journey.
Schedule: 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08:00‑20:00, Saturday and Sunday 09:00‑17:00. Fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave.
Salary: £25,000 moving to £25,500 after successful probation. Hybrid work possible after training and probation.
This role suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with detail, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced and varied environment. May also support reception by answering phone calls and covering the desk during busy periods.
Desirable experience:
- Customer service or administrative roles involving accuracy and communication, handling complex queries, or working with technical products.
Responsibilities:
- Review all order paperwork to ensure accuracy before processing for manufacture.
- Check complex technical information including engineer drawings, stock availability, and payment details.
- Liaise with internal teams and customers to resolve order queries and issues.
- Work to deadlines while balancing speed and accuracy for customer installations.
- Communicate confidently via phone and email with customers and colleagues.
- Use Excel and internal systems to manage and validate order data.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly, positive approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
- Problem‑solving mindset with examples of overcoming challenges.
- Customer‑focused approach with empathy and active listening skills.
- Experience using Excel and working with systems/data.
- Ability to build relationships with internal teams across the business.
