Are you on the lookout for a new job as a Mechanical Design Engineer? Stannah has a role available within their on-site team at Watt Close. Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance to attend Andover each day. Candidates must have unrestricted right to work; sponsorship is not offered. Ideal candidates will be experienced in the design, development and testing of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems which include safety-crucial elements, with the ability to produce technical drawings to quality standards and create designs with an emphasis on design for manufacture and assembly.

Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities
- To develop all aspects of mechanical design solutions for new and legacy products to corporate and international standards.
- Produce detailed design documentation to support validation of design solutions.
- Analyse requirements and designs using FMEA process.
- Assess the safety of product designs using Product Safety Hazard Analysis process.
- Produce technical documentation for production, installation and service.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline relevant to mechanical engineering.
- Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements: Experience working with CAD (preferably Creo) PLM (preferably Windchill) Drafting to BS8888 or other equivalent/relevant standard.
