Stannah has an exciting opportunity for a Masting Operative to join the Rail Manufacture department based at our Andover site. The role involves ensuring products meet quality standards before reaching the customer, interpreting technical drawings, and carrying out final inspections in line with specifications and safety requirements. The position is permanent, requires 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday 21:00 to 06:45 with a 33% shift uplift.
Responsibilities- Complete work to required specifications and quality standards
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure “right first time” delivery
- Work safely, following PPE and health & safety guidelines
- Support team working, flexibility, and continuous improvement
- Ability to plan, prioritise, and organise workloads
- Competence in reading and working from technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach
