Apprentice Scheme
We are recruiting for our 2025/26 Apprentices to complete the Highways and Maintenance Apprenticeship with SQS. Our scheme will last for a minimum of 1 year and 1 week, during this time you will be expected to attend a 3 week initial training programme at our London depot. The remainder of the scheme will be made up of 80% on the job training working out of one of our designated depots and 20% off the job training to be held at our London depot.
On the job training will require you to work with bituminous materials and paved surfaces, back-fill and spoil removal within our highways reinstatement teams. Apprentices will be recruited on a fixed term basis and the duration of the scheme is dependent on the length of time it takes them to complete the course, but we expect this to be at least a year and 1 week. Successful Apprentices will have every opportunity to be considered for a full-time established role with SQS.
