The Role
As a Variable Hours Lecturer - Engineering, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across relevant Engineering programmes.
- Plan and adapt engaging lessons, resources and assessment materials to meet the needs of learners.
- Support learners to make progress, achieve their qualifications and develop their skills for further study or employment.
- Maintain accurate course and assessment records and contribute to quality assurance, standardisation and verification processes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the review and improvement of programmes within Engineering and Built Environment.
- Keep your industry knowledge and professional skills up to date, developing links with employers and industry professionals where appropriate.
- Participate in learner inductions, course reviews, team meetings and relevant College activities.
- Contribute to recruitment, promotional and open-day activities where required.
- Support a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment and uphold the College's safeguarding, equality, diversity and health and safety responsibilities.

Salary: £21.77 - £33.90 (plus holiday pay) per hour
