We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Lecturer who can inspire learners with a wide range of additional needs through engaging, individualised teaching. Working closely with students, families, and colleagues, you will create meaningful learning experiences that support each learner's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes while celebrating their strengths, aspirations, and achievements.

As a member of the SEND and Inclusive Learning team, you will play an important role in helping learners develop the confidence, independence, and skills needed to achieve successful outcomes both during College and beyond.
The Role: Working within our SEND and Inclusive Learning department, you will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning across Foundation Learning programmes for learners with high needs, supporting both their academic progress and personal development. You will:
- Deliver engaging, personalised teaching that meets individual learner needs and supports EHCP outcomes.
- Plan and assess learning across Foundation Learning programmes, adapting teaching approaches to enable every learner to succeed.
- Act as a personal tutor, supporting learners' progress, wellbeing, and preparation for adulthood.
- Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families, and external professionals to provide a coordinated approach to learner support.
- Monitor learner progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to annual reviews and quality improvement activities.
- Support an inclusive learning environment that encourages confidence, independence, resilience, and meaningful progression.

Salary: Part‑Time Salary (0.6 FTE): £16,788 – £26,901 per annum
