This is an excellent opportunity to join Stanmore College as Curriculum Manager for Business & Accounting, taking a leading role in the management, development, and delivery of a high-quality curriculum.
The role requires an experienced and effective leader who can manage and develop a team of staff, ensure consistently high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and contribute to the strategic development of the curriculum. You will play a key role in driving quality improvement, supporting staff performance, and ensuring that provision remains relevant, innovative, and aligned to learner and employer needs.
The Role
- You will lead the Business & Accounting department, with responsibility for managing a team of staff and overseeing the delivery and continuous development of a high-quality curriculum.
- Lead and manage a team of lecturers, supporting performance management, professional development, and the establishment of a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Drive high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring strong student outcomes.
- Develop and enhance a forward-thinking curriculum that reflects industry needs and progression pathways.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including recruitment, retention, achievement, and student satisfaction.
- Ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance processes, including internal verification and continuous improvement.
- Support student recruitment, marketing activities, and employer engagement initiatives.
- Implement strategies to support learner progress, behaviour, and progression into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.
- Work collaboratively across the College to ensure the effective use of resources and the delivery of a high-quality learner experience.
