Support the delivery of fast-paced, high-quality construction projects. Stanlo Construction is a growing principal contractor delivering fast-paced, high-quality retail, commercial and hospitality fit-out projects across the UK. With a strong and expanding pipeline — particularly in London and the South East — we are looking for an experienced and highly organised individual to take ownership of document control, support project delivery teams, and manage key compliance processes across the business. This role is based at our Plymouth Head Office.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for managing project documentation, supporting project coordination, and ensuring all company accreditations and compliance requirements are maintained and up to date. You will work closely with project teams, commercial staff and site teams to ensure information is accurate, controlled and easily accessible — helping projects run efficiently from inception through to completion. You will play a key role in improving how project information is managed across the business, supporting delivery teams and maintaining the systems that underpin successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Document Control & Information Management
- Manage project documentation using SharePoint and internal systems
- Maintain drawing registers, document trackers and project records
- Ensure strict version control, naming conventions and document accuracy
- Distribute drawings, reports and project information to internal and external stakeholders
- Carry out quality checks before issuing documentation
- Maintain structured project filing systems from inception to completion
- Prepare handover documentation and archive project records
Project Support & Coordination
- Set up new projects, including folder structures and document workflows
- Support project teams with day-to-day coordination and administration
- Assist with procurement administration, enquiries and documentation tracking
- Support monitoring of project information, deadlines and deliverables
- Provide general project and operational support across live projects
Accreditation & Compliance Management
- Manage company accreditations including SMAS, ISO9001, ISO14001, Achilles and Avetta
- Track renewal deadlines and lead the renewal process
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and compliance records
- Support audits and assessments with accurate and up-to-date information
- Assist with maintaining company quality, environmental and H&S systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience in document control, project administration or a similar role
- Experience within a construction or project-based environment
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities confidently
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, professional approach
Desirable
- Experience supporting accreditation or compliance processes
- Understanding of construction project workflows and documentation
