Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, with excellent prospects for long term or temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Duties include, but not limited to: * Operating all components of the recycling plant and machinery * Providing support and direction to the Team * Producing products to the client’s specifications on the PET hot wash recycling production line. * Handling/loading raw materials into the plant for processing and handling/unloading finished products. * Ensure material supply for machines of maintained and topped up. * Maximising production output during shift. * Carry out laboratory test on both raw materials and finished products, ensuring they pass quality standard. * Carry out quality checks and report to the Shift/Production Manager/Supervisor, any concerns or doubts relating to specification or machinery performance. * Assist engineers and managers with any and all task and responsibility as assigned. * Removal and segregation of scrap products. * Carry out inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and shelf organisation. * Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, telehandlers or pallet jacks, safely and responsibly. * Loading and unloading shipments in containers, curtain sided wagons etc; ensuring items are handled with care. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health, safety and operational standards. * Accurately record checks and work completed. * Complete handover to next shift. The ideal Operatives must have: * Valid Forklift Licence * At least one year of experience * NVQ Level 2 Warehousing and Storage (Desirable) * Be flexible to cover all duties * Training will be provided Hours of work are 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am Monday to Thursday, you can choose either shift, or if you prefer, rotate the weeks of days and nights.
