In this role you will be responsible for the effective running of production lines. You will be required to apply troubleshooting techniques to maintain the smooth running of the production process and uphold the highest quality standards. You will perform changeovers and associated administration tasks. The post holder will complete routine QC/QA procedures and take appropriate resultant actions. Embrace and drive our clients' core mission, values and priorities.
Skills & Experience:
- Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change quickly
- Must demonstrate a sense of urgency
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and product/process development cycles
- Understanding of regulatory compliance issues, environmental and safety issues and regulations
- Competency in various computer-based software applications (i.e. SAP, MS Office, etc.)
- Ability to accurately interpret and respond effectively to financial data (i.e. cost standards, variance reports, etc.)
- Ability to demonstrate basic technical and mechanical initiatives regarding manufacturing equipment
- Fully competent in oral and written communications and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively convey Company policies and procedures
Qualifications/Education:
- Educated to GCSE standard or relevant Vocational Qualification preferred
- Demonstrate an aptitude for technical / analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, with excellent written and verbal English Language
- Experience in a manufacturing operation, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
Hours of work: Either 4 x 12 hour days, Monday to Thursday, 4 x 12 hours nights, also Monday to Thursday or 3 x days Friday to Sunday. SHIFTS DO NOT ROTATE. YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND OUR OFFICE FOR FULL RIGHT TO WORK CHECKS ALONG WITH PRE EMPLOYMENT SCREENING AND TESTING.
