Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to cover a wide range of mechanical, electrical equipment and machinery in a recycling environment, the ideal candidate will have the ability to utilise a logical approach to solve any problems that may arise. This is a temporary role, with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidates. Core duties will included carrying out routine maintenance on, Conveyors, Electronic Control Panels, Power Transmission Equipment (motors gearbox bearings) Air Density & Eddy Current Separators, Feed Hoppers. Basic welding skills and experience in MIG and TIG would be an advantage. Personnel specification: * 5 years or more experience of plant fitting and maintenance in an industrial environment * Have an excellent understanding and commitment to safe working practises. * Must have or be willing to receive training to operate Telehandler and MEWP equipment * Good communication * Good knowledge of industrial glass processing equipment * Good Multi-skilled knowledge range (Electrical & Mechanical) * High standard of design and fabrication skills * Able to work autonomously * Good reporting skills Specialist tools and large equipment is provided; however, you will be expected to provide your own small and general-purpose tools. There is secure storage for your personal items in our large workshop The role will be on a Monday to Friday working week initially for training, 8 am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. Training will be given as necessary. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
