They have significant private equity backing so now is a really exciting time to join the organisation, with a new senior leadership team and ambitious plans for growth.

We are partnering with their Chief Marketing Officer to appoint a Head of Communications who will transform and elevate their communications strategy.

This role is the number one in communications with significant autonomy and the ability to make a game changing impact.

  • Key focuses of the role
  • Ensuring strong, positive media coverage is delivered, regionally and nationally, aligned with the company strategy and brand purpose.
  • Building an enduring relationship with their inspiring CEO who you will have regular interaction with, as well as other senior stakeholders.
  • Clear and inspiring internal comms that ensure your colleagues are always engaged and informed.
  • Crisis management – Along with the CEO you are the public face of the organisation and need to take ownership when navigating challenging circumstances.

Experience in their specific sector is not important, but ideally their Head of Communications would come from a customer facing environment with physical site operations, such as hospitality, leisure, retail or healthcare.

What is much more important however is the ability to excel in a fast paced, low ego environment, combining high level strategic thinking with operational execution.
