We are proud to be representing a charitable organisation that has been the leader in its field for over a hundred years. Their sites attract millions of annual visitors and are recognised as the benchmark for quality and innovation in their sector. They are focussed on building a lifelong relationship with their visitors and playing a crucial role in their physical and mental wellbeing. With record recent investment in their sites, this a particularly exciting period of growth for the organisation, which is why they are looking to appoint their first Head of Retail.
This role will be an integral part of their commercial strategy and is the number one retail role in the organisation. The Head of Retail will have responsibility for driving revenue and profit targets for all their sites through inspirational and creative ideas, whilst motivating and developing the retail team. The role will have genuine autonomy to make decisions and combines high level strategic thinking with day-to-day operational responsibility. They are looking for someone who can identify new commercial opportunities and build compelling partnerships with brands that are aligned with their values and reputation for quality.
This role will be based out of their Head Office in London circa 2 days a week, however, the Head of Retail must have a UK wide outlook and be a regular, visible presence across their sites.
