Our client is the UK market leader in their sector and is highly respected, not just for their impressive commercial growth, but also the ethical and sustainable way in which it has been achieved. They have recently received significant financial backing and are now focused on a global growth journey towards a billion-pound revenue.

They are looking to recruit a Group Finance Director (the only FD in the organisation, rather than one of many), who will be the number 2 to their global CFO and will play a fundamental role in delivering their global expansion plans. Sector experience is not important; what is critical is exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

This is the face of finance for the business requiring the capability to communicate at all levels, with all disciplines globally and adapt to a range of cultures, rather than purely operating in the narrow silo of finance experts.

From a technical perspective, this role is primarily focused on finance operations, control, treasury and tax, as well as working closely with, but not directly responsible for, commercial finance and FP&A.

Their hybrid working model requires the Group Finance Director to be in their North London offices 3 days a week, in order to be a visible leader not just with your team of over 20, but also to build relationships across all areas of the business.

In terms of package, the basic salary will be in excess of £150k, plus bonus and LTIP.
