Stanely Park Care Home, located in Paisley’s Balgonie area, is a warm and welcoming 40-bed home, recently refurbished to offer a modern, comfortable environment. We provide high-quality residential and respite care in a homely setting where residents feel safe, supported, and valued. Rated all 5s by the Care Inspectorate and proudly holding a 9.7 score on carehome.co.uk, Stanely Park is committed to delivering care you can trust.
Contract: £15.23 per hour, contracted to 26 hours per week - dayshift but may need to cover nightshift. Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided. 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract).
Role Overview: As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
We Are Looking For:
- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum)
- Medication administration training with competency is essential
- Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
