Stanley House Veterinary Group is a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice with a loyal and growing client base. We provide high-quality first-opinion small animal care across East Lancashire, with a strong focus on excellent medicine, team wellbeing, and sustainable careers. Our sites include:
- Consulting and operating branch in Burnley
- Consulting branch in Barnoldswick

The Role
- Full-time position – 40 hours per week. Part-time can be considered
- Flexible working options available
- Some branch work may include sole-charge consulting
- Participation in OOH rota (weekends only)
- 1 in 8 Fri & Sun on call (Mon and Tue off in lieu), 1 in 8 Saturdays - a Friday off in lieu
- We provide our own OOH service, with experienced vets and a dedicated night nurse team, ensuring continuity of care

- An experienced Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for small animal practice
- Confident in routine consultations and surgery, with VetGDP completed
- Keen to work with a diverse and interesting caseload
- Interested in developing and strengthening in-house services — particularly surgery or orthopaedics
- Motivated to continue learning and growing within a supportive, well-resourced team
