Qualifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable team player who will join our spa therapist team on 32 hours a week.

You must be presentable, professional, and upbeat.

You should have a high level of detail orientation to maintain the 5 bubble spa environment and ability to multitask duties.

Previous experience within a hotel spa therapist position is ideal.

Day in the Life

Spa attendants are the frontline employees of the spa industry.

They’re responsible for providing guests with an exceptional experience while they relax, unwind, and treat themselves to a variety of services.

The position includes shift work, over weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide first class treatment and service
  • Recommend treatments and retail to guests as per their needs, ethically
  • To meet and sometimes exceed personal and professional targets set by the Head Therapist or Spa Manager on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Good time management of column
  • Attend training sessions where necessary
  • There may are may not, from time to time require a change in specific duties and/ or role to cover the needs of the business in the event of sickness/shortness in staff should it be necessary or pertinent on the day
  • Making sure the guest service satisfaction is to a high standard
  • To work alongside other colleges and making sure the spa operates as it should.
  • Good time management and task orientation in general – this also includes the organisation of time around guests to ensure all jobs are completed.
  • Delivery of high customer service, ensure that every guest is treated professionally and guest concerns are effectively understood.
  • Maintaining 5 star standards throughout the spa and by walking through all areas as well as ensuring that clean down, set up and care of items is adhered to and you are using any/all check sheets
  • Report all/any maintenance requests or defects to the Senior Spa Attendant or Spa Manager where necessary
  • Conduct inventory as well as checking product usage and stock levels.
  • Ordering of all stock in a timely manner to ensure the spa is well equipped, within the constraints of the budget
  • Maintain and work within the health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure all items are hygienically used and stored correctly
  • Making sure changing rooms, thermal and spa lounge are up to the standards they should be and restocked throughout the day
