About the Role

Stanley House Consulting (SHC) is partnering with a client to recruit experienced tutors to support school-aged students during daytime hours. You will be working with learners who are currently outside of mainstream school settings. Some students may have additional needs, including behavioural challenges or Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role requires a personalised, patient approach, with a strong focus on building trust and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored lessons in Maths, English, and/or Science
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
  • Build strong rapport to support student engagement and progress
  • Work in non-traditional educational environments

Requirements

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching
  • Confidence in delivering at least one core subject (Maths, English, or Science)
  • Ability to support students with diverse or additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability during daytime hours
  • Convenient for Online Teaching
