The Job: Stanley Black & Decker is seeking an enthusiastic and driven candidate to join the Stanley Leadership Program (SLP) – Commercial Track. This rotational program is designed to accelerate development across key commercial functions through structured placements in Trade Marketing, National Sales / Account Management, Field Sales & Activation roles which are 6 months, 6 months and 12 months respectively.
SLP members are offered a unique opportunity to develop broad commercial capability, deepen market and product knowledge, and contribute directly to sales growth, customer success, and brand strength across Stanley Black & Decker’s portfolio. Through this rotational program, you will build skills in customer engagement, market analysis, go-to-market activation, technical product support, and solution-oriented selling. What You’ll Do:
- Support commercial growth initiatives across multiple channels, customers, and end-user segments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and other key stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, dealers, and end users while representing Stanley Black & Decker professionally as a brand ambassador.
- Help execute commercial priorities including product launches, promotional campaigns, customer engagement activities, and seasonal/channel initiatives.
- Develop and maintain sales enablement and product support materials, including presentations, buying guides, digital content, and product data.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and key performance indicators to support reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Provide field and customer-facing support through product training, demonstrations, troubleshooting, dealer visits, events, and follow-up on sales opportunities.
