As a Sr. Category Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:
- Execute category strategy across all Category portfolios.
- Guide the NPD process to align with brand direction through the early-stage ideation phase.
- Provide feedback on prioritization of product development projects based on category strategy.
- Gather and synthesize information from various teams to assess competitive positioning, identify opportunities, and understand market dynamics.
- Transform broader market intelligence into actionable insights, drive category growth initiatives, and inform product prioritization and go-to-market plans.
- Product life cycle management, including low/negative margin analysis and SKU rationalization.
- Provide financial analysis by category to the channel marketing team for annual quoting and line review process.
- Deliver Category education & storytelling to internal & external parties.
- Communicate strategy with cross-functional teams (sales, brand, product, channel) and act as point of contact for product launch.
- Lead operational alignment across team (supply chain, manufacturing, marketing) to ensure product availability and readiness are timely and effective.
