Why SLP? The Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (“SLP”) is a high-profile rotational program that is an integrated process for accelerating the development of our future leaders. It is geared toward recent graduates with Human Resources internship experience and a relevant business degree with a passion for a long-term career in Human Resources and People Operations. HR SLPs work in 3 rotations over 2 years, each rotation has project assignments that allow participants to become familiar with how we do business and contribute to the success of that facility.
The Job: As the Human Resources Graduate, you’ll be part of our Human Resources team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:
- Build relationships and become a trusted advisor to business groups while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives.
- Lead HR and analytics projects to streamline processes and increase working capital turns – all while communicating effectively any challenges that may inhibit project deliverables.
- Plan, manage, and provide deliverables on projects as assigned throughout your rotational assignments.
- Facilitate structured training programs to support business transformation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Report out/present to Program peers and company leaders about your project deliverables on a regular rhythm.
The Person: You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You’re not intimidated by innovation. You also have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Analytics or Communications.
- Prior internships in HR, Analytics or Project Management.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to rotate work assignments, projects, and teams every 6-12 months throughout the program.
- Relocation for a minimum of one rotation may be required.
