The Role: Junior Key Account Manager (Automotive Channel) Location: Remote with travel. Looking for someone to be based South West UK.

What You’ll Do: Join our dynamic team as a Junior Key Account Manager and drive sales growth across leading automotive groups! We’re seeking a proactive professional to explore new business opportunities with regional motor factors, fast-fit centers, and commercial automotive organisations. You’ll engage directly with end-user automotive companies, providing on-site technical support and training.

Your mission: maximise opportunities for new product listings and capture competitive business in the Automotive Power Tools sector, with a focus on achieving 85% penetration and adding value with Hand Tools. Spend 2-3 days a week working with national accounts, supporting branch-level initiatives and end-user workouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account service levels.
  • Design and implement account development plans for the automotive channel.
  • Negotiate range pricing and promotional deals.
  • Maintain high levels of awareness of market and competitor activity, customer trends and provide feedback.
  • Maintain a database of account information containing contacts, product range, pricing and margins.
  • Monitor procedures to provide best possible customer service.
  • Effectively manage the available sales time and account activity to deliver the desired performance.
  • Continually develop in-depth technical knowledge of product and marketplace.
  • Gain maximum account penetration and distribution of new products.

  • Driver’s license: Full.
