What You’ll Do:
- Identify and develop end user and contract business by generating leads, building strong customer and distributor relationships, and providing technical support to meet customer needs.
- Recommend and implement productivity-enhancing solutions tailored to customer requirements, focusing on reducing downtime for UK manufacturers.
- Strengthen relationships within the branch and distribution network to increase sales opportunities and raise Stanley Black & Decker’s profile.
- Arrange and deliver product training and support for branch, sales teams, and customers to enhance product knowledge.
- Drive new business by self-generating opportunities, achieving sales targets/KPIs, and maintaining accurate records and engagement levels using Salesforce CRM.
The Person:

- Experience of structured selling and negotiating experience, including selling brands, solutions, and products; strong commercial awareness and technical product understanding (ideally Handtools).
- Ability to manage the profitability within tooling proposals submitted and Product Business Plan updates.
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and organised, with the ability to prioritise workload and a strong desire for personal and professional development.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external customers; flexible and effective team player.
- Intermediate PC literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
