The predicted salary is between 25185 - 25989 £ per year.
Salary £25,185-£25,989 pro rata. Temporary – required for 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2026. Part‑time (22 hours), 3 days a week, 08:15am‑4pm, term time only. Linked to a named child – the post will cease if the child leaves our provision or funding is withdrawn.
Stanhope Barrington CofE Primary School is seeking a highly motivated, committed and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who will play a key role in individual support for an identified child. The successful individual will support the Class Teacher in the teaching and welfare of the assigned individual.
Qualifications:
- Has experience in working with children with social and emotional difficulties.
- Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills.
- Is able to work as a part of a team, learning with and from other colleagues.
- Enjoys working independently and with initiative.
- Is able to work effectively with children either individually and in small groups to enable them to achieve their best.
- Is highly organised and has good time management skills.
- Is flexible, proactive and resourceful.
- Demonstrates good English and Mathematics skills (GCSE Grade C or equivalent).
- Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
