About the location: The Erskine Arms is a traditional Georgian pub with rooms nestled within the medieval walls of Conwy, a stone’s throw from King Edward I’s imposing medieval fortress, Conwy Castle. The Erskine’s slightly austere exterior hides a warm and relaxed interior. With chunky old furniture, rugs and open fires, exactly what you’d want from an old Welsh pub. The Erskine offers a laid-back and friendly atmosphere serving fresh and creative local food, great local ales, a glass or two of good quality wine and for those from further afield, quality cosy guest rooms.
Job Description: We are incredibly proud of our talented chefs and recognise and encourage passion and creativity within our kitchen teams, and are now looking for an experienced and passionate senior chef de partie to join The Erskine and further strengthen the team. A genuine love of food, attention to detail, and experience of a busy high-volume kitchen is vital.

What we’re looking for: A creative and talented chef who is looking for a progressive and challenging role in a bustling kitchen. Our chefs create their own menus and always welcome ideas from the whole of the team. We are well known for serving the finest of fresh locally sourced produce and our regularly changing menus reflect this. Previous experience of working in a similar kitchen is essential as we know you’ll have the attitude and work ethos we’re looking for – a chef who shares our love of everything foody and brings passion and flair to the kitchen.
